Blue Tomorrow (2006/4/26)
...........If the battery power dies while using the mouse, don't worry. The BT510 has a great feature where you can use USB power to power the mouse using the supplied power cord. Rechargeable batteries would be a great feature to add to the mouse..........Since the BT510 fits into the palm of your hand, it can be used as the wireless clicker during PowerPoint presentations..........During the presentation, he was able to walk around the room (he stayed with 30 feet of the computer at all times however) and click to the next slide whenever he was ready to. There were never any glitches and the mouse performed better than expected.......... |

TECHNIZ (2005/12/30)
...........I had my reservations about this mouse as it seemed very small to start with. Saying that upon using it for a day I was impressed at how well it fitted into th palm of my hand. It was smaller than I was used to but it did work, the scroll wheel is well poistioned at the front..........The connectivity was very good, and connecting the mouse to the adapter was simple and very quick. Connecting my k750i phone to the adapter was a breeze. Turning on the bluetooth on my phone and searching for it via the adapter it was almost instantly found. This was excellent compared to my previous bluetooth adapter - this one actually worked!.......... |

Gideon Tech (2005/11/30)
.........On the bottom of the mouse are three buttons. The on/off switch, the connect button and the mouse cover release. To install the batteries, press down on the cover release and the top cover pops right off. With the two included AAA batteries installed, the mouse feels a bit heavier and easier to use in my opinion........If you have a laptop and need a small and portable mouse, this is it. Add to the fact that it's bluetooth wireless makes it that much sweeter........... |

Ascully.com (2005/11/29)
.........An interesting feature is the included USB charge cable. While it is called a charge cable its function is not what the name implies. Say you are away from home and run out of batteries, the USB cable turns the mouse into a wired mouse and powers it at the same time. It will not however charge batteries that are inserted into the mouse. I would have liked to see this feature added as grabbing power from your laptop battery when on the road would be a interesting feature. The reality is that in a emergency the cable works to keep your mouse going........... |

Techgage (2005/11/28)
.........The mouse can be configured for both right and left hand use, without the use of third party software. Just hold down the left side and the middle scroll wheel for three seconds and it'll switch to left hand. Right side and scroll wheel for right hand. Really simple, really easy, no fuss. Wonderful, especially for those left-handers........... |

Maximum CPU (2005/11/27)
.........First off, the mouse is fully compliant with Bluetooth standards, and configures easily. It carries two AAA batteries that do little to weigh t things down.It looks sharp, with an all - white body. The mouse idles after a few seconds, and will take the better part of a second to bring it back........... |

TwistedMods (2005/10/20)
.........On the front right corner of the mouse is a DC port which is used to accept the USB cable to power your BT510 incase your batteries run out. It basically makes your mouse corded. It's a great feature if you're on the go with your laptop and can't get access to some AAA batteries. No other mouse has this awesome feature.......... |

Futurelooks (2005/8/23)
.........The other kind of cool feature of the BlueTake BT510 mouse was the fact that if you do indeed run out of power from the two onboard AAA batteries, you can easily plug the mouse into a USB port and continue powered off the bus. It's like a lifeline for your mouse and nothing is more annoying than running completely wireless devices only to have the batteries die on you during the middle of your workday. Very cool!.......... |

LAN Addict (2005/8/15)
.........One of the biggest features, in my opinion, is the additional USB power supply. What this means is that, in the event your batteries die, you have the option of plugging in the included USB cable and connecting it to the BT510 for power. Yes, that means you are no longer wireless, but it also means that you can still use your mouse!.........Due to the design of the BT510, it is great for righties AND lefties! In fact, Bluetake makes it very easy to switch from right-handed to left-handed and back again. Just hold down the scroll wheel and the button you want to use with your index finger (left button for righties, right button for lefties) for 3 seconds. That's it! How much easier could this be?.......... |

MeetTheGeeks (2005/6/2)
.........The design of the mouse and layout is something a little different. Most mice incorporate the wheel between the two buttons, sort of centrally and set back. This one is a little further forward and extends out from the front a short way. That way you can operate the buttons and still have control of the wheel without having to pull your finger back, it's a perfectly comfortable position. It's surprising how much easier and more natural this position is, and it should be adopted on more mice.......... |

The Gadgeteer (2005/5/26)
.........After successful pairing, you're on your way to using the mouse. As far as mice go, this one is smooth to use and I had no problems using it without a mouse pad. The scroll wheel is very responsive, not sluggish like the previous mode.........Otherwise, I've been happy the performance of this mouse.......... |

Geek.com (2005/5/16)
.........One great feature of the mouse is the included USB cable, so if your batteries run out or you are on an airplane flight you can still use the mouse with the BT radio switched off.........The mouse has a left and right button and a center scroll wheel, and it's very comfortable for extended daily use. You can also easily flip the left and right mouse buttons in case you are left-handed and want to use the mouse more naturally. The mouse is also symmetrical to make the left and right switching easier. I am sure my lefty daughters would appreciate the thought Bluetake put into this mouse design.......... |

TECNO PALM (2005/5/14) (Spanish)

Envy News (2005/5/12)
.........The sides of the mouse are concave, providing ample grip to move the mouse around and easily pick it up if required. The BT510 is extremely light. However, when the batteries are placed within it, the unit weighs in at 81 grams; this brings up the weight of the device to a nice heft, perfectly suiting it......... |

Hardware Pacers (2005/5/1)
.........The small Bluetake mouse is amazing. It has comfort, style and an excellent design. It is lightweight, has a backup power source and a feature called Reversible Button Function. It contains a power switch to conserve battery power and functions on many surfaces because of its optical technology. The pouch that arrives with the mouse is a handy product that prevents the mouse from receiving minor damages during journeys......... |

Geekzone (2005/5/8)
.........Using it is simple and you just need to turn it on, press the Connect button next to the power switch and do a Search from your computer. The mouse will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last used computer when turned on. Couldn't be simpler.........It also offers a Reversible button function, which allows the mouse to be used in any side of the computer without having to install any software. Simply pressing the scrolling wheel and one of the buttons for 3 seconds will swap the button assignment........ |

Ultimate Pocket (2005/5/5) (Frence)
.........Au niveau de l'utilisation, il n'y a pas grand chose à redire, la prise en main est agréable, facile et rapide. La molette est un plus, j'en ai rarement vu d'aussi agréables à manipuler, le toucher est très doux!

Buddha's LAN Room (2005/4/29)
.........The mouse conserves battery life by putting the optical sensor in standby mode when the mouse isnt't moved for several seconds. What this means is that the batteries last a long time.........The optical sensor is 800dpi, so when in use, the mouse moves very well. The reversible mouse buttons means that it works just as well with lefties as it does with righties.......... |

A True Review (2005/4/18)
.......Design wise, the BT510 mini mouse is very well done. Its medium sized body is comfortable to use while still being compact enough to take along everywhere. To make itself standout, the BT510 mouse features two unique functions: the ability to swap left and right button functions on the fly and the ability to draw power from a USB port when no batteries are available....... |

PCdemano (2005/4/4) (Spanish)
| |
The Tech Zone (2005/3/31)
........Left handed users will like the BT510's reversible mouse buttons. By depressing the left mouse button and center scroll wheel for 3 seconds, the BT510 instantly becomes a left handed mouse. Depressing the right mouse button and wheel for 3 seconds turns the mouse beck into right handed mode. All this is done without any 3rd party software required. The BT510's 800DPI optical engine prove very accurate in everyday applications and games......... |
