Battery life of BT500 varies due to multiple factors, including hours of use, the surface on which you use it, brand, type, or the age of battery. The batteries bundled with BT500 are typically last an average of 22-24 hours.

Does BT500 need to install any driver or software to make it work?

No, BT500 is a stand-along Bluetooth mouse using HID (Human Interface Device) profile, so if your computer had Bluetooth interface and supports HID profile, BT500 can works well with your computer.

My BT500 requests a PIN code while pairing.

The default setting of BT500 needs no PIN code for pairing, so if your computer requests a PIN code while pairing, please disable the security connection or PIN code setting in your computer's Bluetooth manager.
