My Bluetooth-embedded handheld device/PDA can play MP3 format, I want pair BT420 headphone with my Bluetooth-embedded handheld device/PDA to listen to the stereo music, is this possible?

The BT420 is enabled to receive streaming stereo music by Bluetooth A2DP profile (Bluetooth A2DP profile is applications on stereo sound transmission). If your Bluetooth-embedded handheld device /PDA support Bluetooth A2DP profile, then you can listen to the music with BT420 headphone.

Note: Bluetooth headset profile and Bluetooth handsfree profile only support Mono sound quality. If your Bluetooth-embedded handheld device/PDA only support Bluetooth headset profile and Bluetooth handsfree profile, you may hear sound transmitted from your Bluetooth-embedded handheld device/PDA, but Mono sound quality only.

I use win xp sp2 bluetooth built-in driver, why I can't use BT420 headphone for MSN®/Skype™/Yahoo!® Messenger with my built-in Bluetooth Laptop?

Microsoft Bluetooth software support only 6 Bluetooth profiles:
HID(Keyboard and mouse), HCRP(Printer), DUN(Dial Up via Cell phone), PAN(Bluetooth Access Network), OBEX(Files transfer), SPP(Serial ports).

The BT420 headphone supports Bluetooth Headset and Hands-Free profiles, Bluetooth A2DP profile but Microsoft Bluetooth software doesn't support Bluetooth Headset and Hands-Free profiles, that is why you can't use the BT420 headphone for MSN®/Skype™/Yahoo!® Messenger with XP SP2 built-in Bluetooth driver.

I want use BT420 headphone with my PC which doesn't have built-in Bluetooth to listen to the stereo music, what can I do?

There are two solutions:

1. Please install the Bluetooth software which support A2DP profile and an A2DP ready Bluetooth USB adapter to the PC, such as BT007Si, BT009Si.

2. Please install the BT430 Audio dongle provided with the BT420EX retail box to the 3.5mm stereo in jack of the PC.

These two solutions allow you to listen to the stereo music transmitted from the PC.

Could I use BT420 headphone for Skype™/MSN® or Yahoo!® Messenger?

Yes, you can use BT420 headphone for Internet messenger application, such as Skype, MSN, and Yahoo! Messenger.

My Bluetooth-embedded mobile phone only have 2.5mm audio jack, I want use conversion plug adapter converting BT430 3.5mm to 2.5mm audio jack, and pair with BT420 headphone listen to the music with my Bluetooth-embedded mobile phone. Will this work?

The BT430 audio dongle is standard 3.5mm audio jack, and only support Bluetooth A2DP profile.

The Bluetooth-embedded mobile phone audio jack does not for stereo sound only, it provide stereo audio and MIC input. That means even you find a connector from 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter, you can not hear the stereo sound from the mobile phone.

When I adjust volume, I always press the BT420 headset "Talk/ Pair" button accidentally, and make music stop, how do I make music back?

There are two solutions:

1. Please turn off BT420 headphone and then turn on the BT420 headphone. 2. Please press 1 time the BT430’s pairing button.

These two solutions will make music play again.
