Can I use the BT400 Headset to connect to my Laptop with a Bluetooth dongle/adapter for audio usage?

Yes, you can.
Before connecting the BT400 to your computer, please make sure that your computer has equipped a Bluetooth dongle/adapter and installed the Bluetooth software that supports Bluetooth Audio Gateway profile. (For example: Bluetake BT007/BT009 series with BTW 1.3.2.7)

When you use BT400 Headset with your Desktop/Laptop and run the audio/video streaming application such as NetMeeting, you find the quality of Voice/Sound is broken and fragmented.
A
ll voice will be digitalized and encoded from BT400's microphone to the Bluetooth adaptor-installed Desktop/Laptop, and the digitalized data be streamed to your (Desktop/Laptop).
However, some uncompleted voice data will be streaming to the receiver-side (Desktop/Laptop)
And this issue will cause the broken and fragmented sounds.
But if when you use BT400 for listening audio files (Ex. Mp3, Music CD, Video CD), you can get the good quality of Voice/Sound.

  How do I make voice dialing function and redial function by using BT400 headset?


* Before using BT400 to make a voice dialing, please make sure that you have configured the voice tags for those numbers which you would like to dial-up by BT400.

* Voice dialing - Quickly press the "one touch" button TWICE for Voice dialing.
* Redial function -
A. dial the last dialed number:

Please push the "one-touch" switch to the direction of "a" for 2 seconds. Afterward the intermittent short high, Medium and high tones will indicate an attempt to redial. If redialing fails, there will be a long low tone.

B. dial last received call:
Please push the "one-touch" switch to the direction Of "b" for 2seconds. Afterward the intermittent short high,Medium and high tones will indicate an attempt to redial. If redialing fails, there will be a long low tone.


Notice. When redialing, the BT400 will attempt to connect to the remote device if there is no connection
present.
While the BT400 is attempting to connect to the remote device,
There will be a short beep every second.
- If the connection is successful, the beeping will stop.
- If the connection is failed, there will be a long low beep until turn off the power of BT400.
